The Knowledge of the Holy
por A. W. Tozer · 128 páginas · Inglés
A series of meditations on the attributes of God — His holiness, majesty, omniscience, and love — written to restore among modern believers a reverent sense of God's greatness.
Published in 1961, this book grew out of Tozer's conviction that "what comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us." Each short chapter meditates on a single divine attribute — God's infinitude, omniscience, and mercy — in a devotional rather than academic style.
Tozer wrote out of concern for what he called a "loss of the concept of majesty" in the evangelical church of his day, a diagnosis many readers have found just as relevant decades later.
