The Pursuit of Holiness
por Jerry Bridges · 208 páginas · Inglés
A classic call to personal holiness, showing the believer's responsibility to actively cooperate with the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit.
One of Bridges's most influential books, originally published in 1978, begins from the conviction that holiness is not optional for the believer: "without holiness no one will see the Lord" (Hebrews 12:14). The book insists that while God has done his part in sanctification, the believer also has an active responsibility to fulfill.
With a pastoral tone and everyday illustrations, Bridges shows how spiritual discipline and dependence on grace work together, not in tension, in Christian growth.

The Pursuit of Holiness is a modern classic. This is one of the most important books produced in the last fifty years.
This classic makes one think, pray, and get real with God. I cannot recommend it too highly.
