John Stott

John Stott was an English Anglican clergyman, theologian, and one of the principal architects of twentieth-century global evangelicalism. He served for many years as rector of All Souls Church, Langham Place, in London, and was a chief drafter of the influential Lausanne Covenant of 1974.

Through his writing, preaching, and the founding of the Langham Partnership to train pastors and provide theological literature in the majority world, Stott shaped evangelical thinking on Scripture, mission, and the cross for generations of readers worldwide.
